Web redesign background

The College of Public Health realizes that its web site should be the center of the college's communications with external audiences. The college must take advantage of emerging web-based technologies to recruit the best students, promote scholarly achievements and link audiences to the college's core missions: research, education, service. The college charged a web project team with creating a new family of web sites that takes advantage of current technologies, improved navigation and a visual identity consistent with The Ohio State University.

The project team conducted research, surveyed stakeholders, and provided periodic updates to stakeholders throughout the development process. The team selected University Relations as the design vendor. The site deliverables, including site map, design and content, were reviewed by the web project team, the IS Advisory Committee, the Executive Committee, students, external advisors and others.
