Welcome to the Office of Academic Programs at the College of Public Health. Part of the college's mission is to prepare the next generation of public health practitioners, health care managers and scholars. Without the students, we wouldn't have a college.
While we have only been a college since 2007, our programs have been around much longer. The very first Master of Science degree in Preventive Medicine was given in 1948. The first Master of Health Administration degree was bestowed in 1971, and the first Master of Public Health was given in 1992. The school of public health was formed in 1995 by combining these programs.
Our college is now ranked 21st out of 40 accredited schools of public health by US News & World Report, and our MHA program is ranked 12th. The Office of Academic Programs was created to provide students with guidance in admissions and career services, and assistance in navigating university and college requirements. We want to help you get the most out of your time in our programs.
