With a wealth of resources and faculty experts, the Division of Health Services Management and Policy prepares its doctoral students to become leading authorities in a variety of health services fields, including health care management, health policy, and health services research.  During their time in the doctoral program, students have opportunities to work with nationally renowned faculty, top-tier health care systems, local and state government agencies, and accomplished investigators to conduct cutting edge, original research aimed at improving the delivery and effectiveness of health care services. Substantial collaborative opportunities are available through additional resources at the Ohio State University College of Medicine and other health sciences colleges including Pharmacy, Dentistry, Optometry, and Nursing.

The Division of Health Services Management and Policy seeks highly qualified PhD candidates with excellent prior academic records and GRE/GMAT scores. Students who meet the necessary criteria may be eligible for generous fellowships, graduate assistantships, and other financial aid packages. Additional financial aid and paid research positions may also be available through the Center for Health Outcomes, Policy and Evaluation Studies, housed in The Ohio State University College of Public Health.
