Dawn Williams
Coordinator of Academic Advisement
Dawn Williams is the Coordinator of Academic Advisement in the College of Public Health's Office of Academic Programs. Her duties involve meeting with prospective students regarding program requirements and monitoring academic progress and degree completion for current students.
Dawn earned her Master’s Degree from Wright State University in Dayton, in June 2007. She earned her B.A. from Antioch University McGregor in Yellow Springs in 2003, and her Associates Degree from Sinclair Community College in 2000.
She worked in the health insurance industry for eight years before leaving to focus full-time on her Master’s Degree. She worked three years at CareSource Management Group a (Medicaid HMO) and United Healthcare Insurance for five years.
Most recently, Dawn taught a career planning course for the Office of Career Services at Wright State University in Dayton, served as an Academic Advising intern at Sinclair Community College, and was a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Student Activities at Wilberforce University.
