Leadership Development Symposium

Leadership Development Symposium (LDS) is an event organized by the Association of Future Healthcare Executives (AFHE), which consists of students in the Health Services Management and Policy division of the College of Public Health at The Ohio State University. The event was created to bring together current and future healthcare leaders to engage in discussion of key issues, promote the development of core leadership competencies, and share experiences and knowledge pertinent to leading highperforming organizations.

As the economies of the world come under pressure, both entrepreneurial and leadership skills will become more important than ever before in addressing concerns with cost, access and quality in healthcare. It is with great hope that the Symposium will be thought-provoking not only to those familiar with these issues, but also engaging to those who are new to such a challenging and dynamic industry.
