Alumni Reunion Weekend

Alumni reunion weekend is an annual campus-wide event designed to welcome alumni back to Ohio State. Colleges, including the College of Public Health and alumni societies across campus, host events and alumni have the opportunity to attend an Ohio State football game. For the past three years, the CPH and HSMP Alumni Societies have partnered on the weekends' events.

Homecoming/Alumni Reunion Weekend

Note: The 2012 Homecoming and Reunion Weekend will combine into one campus-wide celebration welcoming alumni home. Check back this summer for updates and registration information.

NOMINATE AN ALUMNUS for the William R. Gemma Memorial Award

William R. Gemma devoted his career to improving emergency medical services in the United States and abroad. To honor Bill’s memory the CPH Alumni Society established the William R. Gemma Memorial Award.  This award is given each year at the Alumni Reunion Kick Off to an alumnus who has distinguished herself/himself by achievements and contributions in the field of preventive medicine or public health.

Important information about football tickets

Each alumni society is allocated a limited number of football tickets for the reunion weekend football game. Only those individuals who are members of the OSU Alumni Association and members of one of our alumni societies will be eligible for these tickets. Each person will be limited to purchasing two game tickets per household and they must be purchased with either the tailgate event or the reunion kick off. If ticket requests exceed the number of tickets available, then the requests will be filled by a lottery system. You will receive a confirmation of your ticket request one month prior to the game. If you are randomly selected to receive the tickets, you will have one week to send payment for the tickets and tailgate. If payment is not received, another alumnus will be offered your tickets. If you already have tickets to the football game via other sources (for example, President's Club, Varsity O football, Varsity O, OSUAA, faculty, staff, student, etc), you will not be eligible to purchase tickets through our event, but you may join your fellow alumni at the other sponsored events. All tailgate and football tickets purchased through us will be available for pickup at our tailgate or at the CPH Alumni Society Reunion Kickoff. Failure to pick up the tickets at this time will result in forfeit of the tickets. Seat location will not be known until the ticket office releases the tickets, usually two weeks before the game.

Alumni society dues are to be paid at the time of registration, if not paid already. If you do not plan to attend the events, but wish to renew your membership to one of our alumni societies, please complete the form and indicate "renew or join."
