Adherence to the NAGCAT and Injury Risk Reduction: Sponsor: The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health Description: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the North American Guidelines for Children’s Agricultural Tasks (NAGCAT) as an approach to the primary prevention of childhood agricultural injury. The study is designed to answer two questions. First, to what extent can compliance to the NAGCAT be maximized through a theory-based dissemination strategy? Second, to what extent can compliance with the NAGCAT actually reduce the risk of work-related injury among farm youth? (Principal Investigator)
