Columbus Congregations for Healthy Youth (CoCHY) is a collaborative project involving local congregations, agencies and The Ohio State University. CoCHY has two goals: To understand – Learning how adolescents’ religiosity protects them from risky behavior. To act – Helping religious leaders and parents protect youth from harm. To achieve these goals we listen to young people, parents and pastors to learn about their experiences and opinions. We will then share this knowledge with congregations and provide resources to help them improve their health promotion activities for youth.
Attention pastors and parents: tell us what you think! |
