Sarah Anderson, assistant professor in the College's Division of Epidemiology, has received significant local and national media attention for her groundbreaking research on childhood obesity.
News about her research was picked up by hundreds of news outlets including USAToday, ABC News and The San Francisco Chronicle.
Anderson is the lead author of a study that looked at body-mass indexes of 8,550 U.S. children and found that 18 percent of 4-year-olds are obese. The Ohio State University's College Public Health is an integral part of the most comprehensive health sciences campus in the nation. The college was created in February 2007 by the University Board of Trustees.
