Buckeye Bluegrass Regional Leadership Academy (BBRLA) Emerging Leaders Program

bbrlaBuckeye Bluegrass Regional Leadership Academy (BBRLA) Emerging Leaders Program is open for application:

Are you ready to meet the future?

We are all experiencing change at an incredible rate. Organizations and leaders must be strategic in approaching the future. Priorities are shifting, budgets are tightening, technology is rapidly evolving, baby boomers are reaching retirement age, and younger workers are entering the workplace with different expectations and skills.

Developing a strategic plan and a succession plan, and developing young, emerging leaders can position your organization for these changes.

The Center for Public Health Practice's Buckeye Bluegrass Regional Leadership Academy is designed to address these critical leadership issues. Participant teams of leaders from organizations will develop a strategic and/or succession plan. Emerging leaders can participate in a structured, individualized approach to develop the skills and competencies to take on more senior leadership roles in your organization.

Together these two components will prepare your organization to meet future opportunities and challenges.

The first cohort of BBRLA Strategic and Succession Planning Teams has begun. Cohort 2 will begin in January, 2010.

The BBRLA Emerging leaders program will be starting October 1-2, 2009. Applications are open for the first cohort. The second cohort of BBRLA Emerging Leaders will begin in June 2010.
