Background

Melissa plans and leads several projects associated with the Center's preparedness activities. She supports the Center's public health organizational and workforce development initiatives by exploring new areas of needs, identifying curricula and programs to meet those needs, and serving as both a facilitator and trainer. She also assists in the development and implementation of the Center's strategic plan. A graduate of Ohio State University (MPH), Bowling Green State University (BS Ed), and a Certified Health Education Specialist, Melissa has over 10 years experience in project management, public health education, and workforce development.
