Background

Heather handles the Training Center Project in the Center for Public Health Practice since 2002. The primary focus of her work is to assess training needs of the public health workforce in Ohio and plan and implement training programs in response to these needs. She has coordinated the Public Health Education Principles Course for the Society for Public Health Education Ohio chapter, and worked with the National Association of City and County Health Officials (NACCHO) to bring the workshop “Making Strategic Decisions about Service Delivery” to Ohio. Heather holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Ohio University and a Masters of Education in Health Promotion and Education from the University of Cincinnati.
