Application has been submitted to the Ohio State Board of Sanitarian Registration and the Ohio Nurses Association.

The Ohio Nurses Association (OBN-001-91) is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

This program is sponsored by the Center for Public Health Practice (MEP2939), a designated provider of continuing education contact hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.  It is a designated event for the CHES to receive up to 17.5 Category I CECH in health education. Maximum advanced-level contact hours available are 17.5.

17.5 CPH CEs will be awarded.

Continuing Education credit will be available for all courses except Applied Logistic Regression, Applied Survival Analysis, and the weekend short courses.

Academic Credit

The weeklong and Applied Survival Analysis courses have been approved for one semester graduate credit. Individuals desiring academic credit and are not currently enrolled at The Ohio State University should visit the following site:

The Summer Program course fees for Academic Credit are a one-time registration fee of $80 plus a $50 fee per course without an evening lab or a $150 fee per course with an evening lab. These fees are payable to the OSU College of Public Health and should be sent to the address on the printable invoice, available upon the completion of the registration process. There is a link for credit card payment at the completion of the registration process. These fees must be paid before the class number is released for university registration. The deadline to register for academic credit and pay Summer Program fees is Tuesday, May 28. Additionally, tuition and related fees for each one-hour course will be paid to The Ohio State University. The 2013 Summer Program is being sponsored by the Center for Public Health Practice, located in the College of Public Health at The Ohio State University. There is no commercial support for this program nor do the planning committee members have any conflict of interest. Any instructor conflict of interest will be resolved prior to the start of the Summer Program. There will be no mention of off-label products.
