Public Health Management and Leadership certificate

Are you a new leader faced with moving your organization forward amid turbulent economic times?
If you answered "yes" to either of these questions, the Center for Public Health Practice has designed a new learning opportunity for you, the Public Health Management and Leadership certificate. With these courses you will learn the fundamentals of managing a public health organization, explore and improve upon your personal leadership strengths, and discover how to advance your organization's goals using strategic planning and performance measurement. This certificate is made up of five core-courses that are arranged into management and leadership categories. Management core courses are related to financial and human resources; leadership core courses relate to personal and strategic leadership development and strategic planning.

- Long serving public health managers and leaders who wish to boost their skills
- Aspiring public health leaders
Certificate Format
The Public Health Management and Leadership certificate includes face - to - face, blended, and online learning courses. Participation in week-long on campus courses during the College of Public Health's Summer Program is required. Other courses will be offered in a blended or entirely online format, depending on subject and instructor.
Registration and Fees
Registration for all courses will occur via the Center's Learning Content Management System.
Fees are determined on a course - by - course basis due to the variable nature of the costs to administer. Fees range from $675 to $300 for core courses and $199-$675 for electives.
