Epidemiology - PhD

Students admitted to the PhD degree program are assigned faculty advisors who will provide guidance throughout the program. This information serves as a resource to be used by the student and the advisor in planning the program of study with a specialization in Epidemiology.

All PhD students in epidemiology are expected to enter the program with a master’s or equivalent in Epidemiology. The doctoral program requires a minimum of 60 semester credits beyond a master’s degree for a total of 90 credits. Of the 90 credits, a maximum of 30 credits may be given for dissertation research.
