Zachary Kerr, MPH '10
Dr. Zachary Kerr first discovered his appreciation for sport-related injury research while pursuing his MPH in Epidemiology at The Ohio State University (Columbus, OH). Dr. Kerr is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Exercise and Sport Science at the University of North Carolina. His research focuses on the evaluation of injury prevention strategies related to traumatic sport-related injuries such as concussions and heat stroke. Dr. Kerr has published over 150 peer-reviewed manuscripts, been the recipient of competitive national grants, and most recently was awarded the New Investigator Award from the American College of Sports Medicine.
