OPHA Student Section Webinar: A Lesson on the Role of Advocacy in Public Health and Public Policy

The OPHA Student Section is holding an event with Representative Emilia Sykes to discuss the importance of advocacy to public health and public policy. Representative Sykes was elected to represent her hometown, Akron, in November 2014. She has worked with healthcare professionals and colleagues to improve public health, increase access to care, and combat Ohio’s high infant mortality rate. The event can be attended in person or virtually via GoTo Meeting.
