Voices from the Community lecture by Naomi Adaniya entitled The State of the Opioid Epidemic: How did we get here? How are we responding? Are there successes?

Naomi Adaniya, MPH, PhD, is a Policy Analyst and Lead of the Fraud Section’s Health Care Fraud Unit’s Data Analytics Team, Criminal Division, Department of Justice. In this capacity, Naomi is responsible for analyzing data, policy, and strategic initiatives, and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders in both the public and private sectors. Recently, she was selected to lead the Department’s Opioid Fraud and Abuse Detection Unit. In 2017, Naomi was awarded the Attorney General’s Award for Fraud Prevention for her exemplary service. 

Prior to working in the Department of Justice, Naomi worked for Sg2, a healthcare consulting firm based in Chicago, and was a Fellow in the U.S. House of Representatives with a policy portfolio focused on healthcare and small business development. She is a proud three-time graduate of The Ohio State University.
