Mark your calendars for a two-night virtual event experience with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion as it celebrates its 50th anniversary and honors its inaugural Hall of Fame recipients, including public health and Buckeye legacy Ruth Ella Moore.

The Office of Diversity and Inclusion is honoring Ruth Ella Moore as a 2021 Hall of Fame Award honoree. Ruth Ella Moore, a lifelong public health practitioner, was the first Black woman in the United States to earn a PhD in the natural sciences, delivering her doctoral dissertation at Ohio State on the bacteriology of tuberculosis.
