Voices from the Community is proud to host a SERtalks lecture: "Race and Mortality in America" featuring Jay Kaufman, PhD, of McGill University

SERtalks, by the Society for Epidemiologic Research, are a series of half-day to full-day workshops across the country featuring an expert on key epidemiology topics.

Dr. Jay Kaufman is an expert in the areas of  social epidemiology, analytic methodology, causal inference and on a variety of health outcomes including perinatal outcomes and cardiovascular, psychiatric and infectious diseases.  He is currently a Professor and Canada Research Chair in Health Disparities in the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health at McGill University.
