SERtalks, by the Society for Epidemiologic Research, are a series of half-day to full-day workshops across the country featuring an expert on key epidemiology topics. Registration is required.

Dr. Jay Kaufman is an expert in the areas of social epidemiology, analytic methodology, causal inference and on a variety of health outcomes including perinatal outcomes and cardiovascular, psychiatric and infectious diseases. He is currently a Professor and Canada Research Chair in Health Disparities in the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health at McGill University.
