Provides statistical and methodological input into OhioHealth-based investigator-initiated clinical research. Ensures that clinical research meets the standards of strategically critical accreditation bodies, including American College of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), American Osteopathic Association (AOA), American College of Surgeons (ACS), Magnet, and others. Educates resident physicians and others on statistics and clinical research design through multiple techniques, including didactic lecture, online modules, and group discussion (e.g., journal clubs). Fosters a collaborative learning environment through participation in OhioHealth-based academic research committees and initiatives.
Job Qualifications: PhD (or PhD ABD) in statistics, epidemiology or related field, or equivalent, such as M. S. in biostatistics or epidemiology with a heavy concentration of statistical coursework, or other related field. Clinical research design, methodology, sampling, statistics, database management, expertise with specialized computer packages (SPSS/SAS, Excel) and Experience with adult learners. The person in this position should keep current with innovations in statistical and research methods. Functions within the model of a multidisciplinary research team. A minimum of 3 Years of Experience is required for this position.
