Applied Practice Experience

Seeking a Communications Intern for the Center for Foodborne Illness Research and Prevention to maintain the CFI website (https://foodsafety.osu.edu/) with weekly blogs and news articles as well as develop content for CFI’s social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn). Position also involves writing periodic press releases to highlight work being done by CFI and development of food safety brochures and related public awareness handouts. This is an unpaid position, but we are very flexible with scheduling.

Student should have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to work independently. Student must have good organization and planning skills along with the ability to multitask and prioritize objectives to meet deadlines. Position requires a thorough understanding of social media. Experience with graphic design or Drupal 7 or 9 desired but not required.
