For her capstone project, Noa Katz is working with the Sexual Assault Response Network of Central Ohio (SARNCO) to bring a survivor art installation to Ohio State’s campus. She has been a staff advocate with SARNCO for more than a year, working one-on-one with survivors in local emergency departments as they go through the reporting process and medical examination.

Noa’s show will be displayed in the third floor lobby of Cunz Hall the week of November 26.

Carol Graham, Leo Pasvolsky Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution, will speak about "Unequal Hopes, Lives, and Lifespans in the USA: Insights from the New Science of Well-Being." Graham's most recent books is Happiness for All? Unequal Lives and Hopes in Pursuit of the American Dream (Princeton, 2017). In this event, she will use well-being data to highlight inequality in beliefs, hope and aspirations.

Each year, the forum hosts students from throughout the United States, providing an ideal opportunity for the collegial exchange of scientific ideas and the professional development of future leaders in the medical and basic sciences. Presenters are provided extensive feedback from both peer and faculty reviewers, and outstanding presentations in multiple categories are recognized with awards.
