Peace Corps is not only an amazing cultural and career opportunity, but provides graduate school fellowships and benefits for returned volunteers. The deadline for these positions, as detailed in the letter, is January 1, 2018 for students wishing to depart Summer 2018

Our class will consist of discussions that address core themes of LGBTQ+ health and healthcare. We will build our dialogues around foundational readings and films linked to the core themes, leading up to interactive sessions with several Ohio-based organizations dedicated to mitigating healthcare challenges within the LGBTQ+ community.

The Accelerator Awards program provides Ohio State researchers up to $100,000 to advance and further develop promising technologies and bring them closer to market. Researchers can use the award for concept development, prototyping, coding, market studies and customer validation efforts. Please join us Friday November 17th for an information session featuring Dr. Michael Elliott, Professor of Biostatistics Research Professor from the University of Michigan. Dr. Elliott will discuss the Michigan Program in Survey Methodology (MPSM). The program offers Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Science degrees. Read more

Dr. Julianna Nemeth was awarded $650,325 through National Cancer Institute (K07). The title of the project is "Development of a contextually tailored and optimized smoking cessation intervention for homeless youth".

Dr. Liz Klein received a subaward from Nationwide Children's Hospital as part of its CDC award entitled, "Center for Injury Research and Policy" in the amount of $46,628.
