Student Practicum Funding Opportunities

The Center for Public Health Practice, as part of the HRSA Region-V Public Health Training Center program, is offering a limited amount of funding to students to support unpaid learning experiences.

Students may be pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degrees in the College of Public Health or a graduate-level degree in the College of Social Work.  The hours required of the student and the timing of the year for the work to be completed is flexible, but the project must meet your college’s requirements for practicum credit.  In order to be eligible, you must have a confirmed practicum experience that works with either a Medically Underserved Area/Population or in a Health Professional Shortage Area. This funding is available for students who have already secured a practicum experience. 3 stipends of up to $3500 are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The funding is available for students who have already found and secured a practicum experience.
