Colleen is a program manager in the Center for Public Health Practice. She assists in planning and delivering workforce development initiatives and manages in-person and online training opportunities/events including the College‘s Annual Summer Program in Population Health. Colleen also coordinates and serves as an instructor for CPHP's and OSU Extension's SAMHSA Mental Health Awareness Training grant, which aims to provide Youth Mental Health First Aid to schools and communities throughout Ohio. She also represents OSU in a multi-university collaborative, Cardi-OH, which aims to improve cardiovascular health outcomes and eliminate cardiovascular health disparities in Ohio.

Colleen previously worked at a behavioral health non-profit in Cleveland, Ohio where she provided Mental Health First Aid and problem gambling prevention programming in various community settings including schools, faith-based organizations, adult and youth justice centers, senior centers, and residential treatment centers. She received her BS in Journalism from Bowling Green State University and her Master of Public Health from Kent State University. Colleen is passionate about eradicating the stigma surrounding mental illness and substance use disorders as well as increasing help-seeking behaviors amongst vulnerable populations.
