Heather Kerr is a BSPH Academic and Career Advisor for the Office of Academic Programs and Student Services (OAPSS) in the College of Public Health. She provides academic and career counseling to major and pre-major students, as well as pre-professional/graduate school advising (medical school, PA, OT, PT, Law, etc.). She also coordinates the undergraduate capstone program, advises special populations (Honors, athletes, first generation, veterans), and manages an online course for newly admitted BSPH major students.
Prior to joining the College of Public Health, Heather served as an academic advisor in the School of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences. She gained experience in public health by working in tobacco cessation in Southeast Ohio and at OSU's Student Wellness Center. Heather earned her Master of Arts in higher education and student affairs at The Ohio State University.
In her spare time, Heather enjoys riding her bike and practicing yoga and Muay Thai.
