Continuing Education


The 2017 Summer Program is jointly provided by the Ohio State University College of Public Health, Center for Public Heath Practice and the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center. 

Application has been submitted for continuing education to the Ohio State Board of Sanitarian.

This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Ohio Nurses Association, an accredited approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. (OBN-001-91). ONA #20823. Approval valid through June 1, 2019. 16.4 hrs.  

Sponsored by the Center for Public Health Practice (MEP100177), a designated provider of continuing education contact hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc., this program is designated for (CHES) and/or Master Certified Health Education Specialists (MCHES) to receive up to 16.5 total category I contact hours in health education. Maximum advance-level contact hours available are 16.5.  

16.5 CPH CE’s will be awarded.

Completion requirements: Attendance at all in-person sessions and submission of an online course evaluation are required for continuing education.
