Interdisciplinary curriculum

Our doctoral program trains you to become a biostatistician in academic, industry, government and other organizations. It requires a minimum of 80 credit hours, during which you’ll develop your abilities to create new methodologies and address important questions to advance public health and the biomedical sciences.

Broad faculty partnerships

Students learn from and partner with faculty who collaborate on research across the university at the colleges of Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Veterinary Medicine and Dentistry, among others. Our faculty are leaders on several well-established, long-standing research projects, providing PhD students with opportunities to become involved with this work.
