Andrew Shan won second place, Ruoyuan Qian received honorable mention

Two Biostatistics PhD students participated in the Student Poster Competition at the 2024 NIC-ASA and ICSA Midwest Chapter Joint Fall Meeting on Oct. 10-11, in Chicago. Andrew Shan won second place for his work titled, "Two-Level Bayesian Variable Selection Method: Joint Modeling Heterogeneous Longitudinal Variables and a Binary outcome," while Ruoyuan Qian received honorable mention for her work titled, “Matching-Assisted Power Prior for Incorporating Real-World Data in Randomized Clinical Trial Analysis.”
