About Public Health Connects

Public Health Connects is a new series designed to help deepen your understanding of different cultures and communities right here in central Ohio.

In each event, members from central Ohio communities will share:

  • insights into their culture and community,
  • how they have made their mark in the capital city,
  • about their significant cultural events and how they celebrate their community,
  • the public health issues the community faces.

Attendees also will experience the culture through food in this lunch-and-learn style event.

Public Health Connects was developed by the College of Public Health’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusive Excellence committee. If you have an idea for a community that should be featured by Public Health Connects, send your idea to the DEIE co-chairs.
