Danielle Tyson receives APHA Student Abstract Award

College of Public Health student Danielle Tyson was honored with the American Public Health Association’s Epidemiology Section Student Fellowship Award for her abstract on social needs as a risk factor for depression and self-harm among adolescents. She was recognized during the APHA Annual Meeting in Atlanta.

Tyson, an epidemiology PhD student in Ohio State’s Medical Scientist Training Program, is a graduate research assistant at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
