A team of three Master of Health Administration students won first place at the Sloan Program in Health Administration Case Competition held in San Francisco this month.

Students Christelle Bonzil, Annabelle Dolney and Grant Mumper took the top prize among 40 teams. The top eight were invited to present their cases in person. Clinical Professor Julie Robbins served as the team’s faculty coach.

Teams were challenged to develop strategic recommendations for University of California Irvine Health’s integration of four newly acquired community network hospitals. In the final round, they built on that work to develop focused strategies for one of the newly acquired hospitals.

The case competition was put on by the Healthcare Students Association (HSA) at Cornell University.
