Financial aid
College is an investment. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to find ways to make your education affordable.
The Ohio State University and the College of Public Health have several resources designed to help you find financial support for your education. Whether you are looking for scholarships, grants, loans or other funding, please use the following resources in your search for financial aid.

College of Public Health scholarships
Most scholarships are awarded to current students, but incoming students have some opportunities for support from the programs that admit them.

ScholarshipUniverse
A single-source tool to find and apply to scholarships across Ohio State and from outside sources. After you apply to Ohio State and obtain your university username, you can create an account and find relevant opportunities.

Associateships
Research, teaching or administrative associate positions are the primary source of graduate student financial aid. They are awarded by graduate programs and you must apply to Ohio State with your interest by Dec.1 to be considered.

Fellowships
A limited number of Ohio State fellowships are available to advance graduate education. Students do not apply for fellowships, but are nominated in various ways.

External public health scholarships
The Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health has developed extensive lists of scholarships and financial aid opportunities.
File your FAFSA
Don't miss out on financial aid. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) helps you maximize your eligibility for financial assistance to pay for college. Ohio State's priority aid consideration deadline for filing the FASFA is March 15, but applications are also accepted after that date.
