About

CPH's team, "Public Health has Heart," will be participating in the American Heart Association's 2026 Central Ohio Heart Walk. Please consider joining the team or supporting a fellow team member!

We encourage everyone to sign up early, and those who sign up by July 15 will receive a free t-shirt!

The event starts at 8 a.m. with tents and music, and the walk itself will start around 9:15 a.m.

Event description (from AHA website):

The Heart Walk is a fun, family-friendly event that brings our community together to get active, raise life-saving funds, and support the mission of the American Heart Association. Whether you're a seasoned walker or just looking for a great day out, join us to celebrate heart health, honor survivors, and remember loved ones affected by heart disease and stroke. Lace up your sneakers for a day filled with music, activities, and camaraderie. Through fundraising and community engagement, the Heart Walk aims to enhance CPR training accessibility, bolster bystander preparedness, increase funding for vital research, and ultimately, save lives.

Please reach out if you have any questions!
