Application open for passport funding grant
Applications are open for eligible Ohio State students to apply for funding to cover the cost of obtaining a U.S. passport, an essential first step to travel internationally.
Students who apply must be a United States citizen aged 18 or older and eligible for the Federal Pell Grant. Preference will be given to those in their first year of school and who have not previously held an adult U.S. passport. The goal of this program is to increase access to international education and lower cost barriers for students who may want to study abroad through Ohio State or travel internationally independently.
The application will be available on Scholarship Universe, under the name 2026-2027 IIE American Passport Project Scholarship. Students can log in with their Ohio State username and password.
