Call for nominations - OPHA Excellence in Public Health Education Award
The 2026 Call for Nominations for the Ohio Public Health Association (OPHA) Public Health Nursing, Epidemiology, and Educator Awards is now open.
The Ohio Public Health Association seeks nominations to recognize outstanding educators who are shaping the next generation of public health professionals by submitting a nomination for the Excellence in Public Health Education Award.
The award will be presented at the conference, Envisioning Tomorrow’s Public Health: Embracing Collaboration for Community Resilience, November 5-6, 2026, at the Kent State University Hotel and Conference Center.
The Excellence in Public Health Education Award honors an outstanding public health academic professional who has made significant contributions to public health education through teaching, training, curriculum development, research, or community education. The award recognizes educators who make public health engaging and accessible while strengthening future public health professionals and the communities they serve through their leadership, innovation, and lasting impact.
