College of Public Health alum Geoffrey Carney-Knisely ’24 PhD was honored for his commitment to public health practice with the 2026 Excellence in Public Health Award, given by the Physicians Professional Advisory Committee of the U.S. Public Health Service.

Carney-Knisely graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in May.
