Henry Xiang recognized for leadership in injury, violence prevention research
Six scholars selected for inaugural class of Fellows
Henry Xiang, Ohio State University professor of medicine (pediatrics) and epidemiology, has been elected an inaugural Fellow of the Society for Advancement of Violence and Injury Research (SAVIR). He is one of six scholars nationwide selected for the inaugural class, which recognizes substantial and sustained contributions to injury and violence prevention science.
Xiang’s research emphasizes epidemiologic methods for injury and violence prevention, with strengths in causal inference, data science and artificial intelligence.
Xiang holds a courtesy faculty appointment at the College of Public Health.
