Lingpeng Shan receives Distinguished Student Paper Award

Biostatistics PhD student recognized with international student paper award

Lingpeng Shan, a PhD student in biostatistics, has received a Distinguished Student Paper Award from the Eastern North American Region (ENAR) of the International Biometric Society.

The award recognizes his paper, “Structured Bayesian Modeling in Joint Models: Selection Processes for Longitudinal Data and a Binary Outcome,” which was selected through a competitive review process. Shan will be recognized for this achievement at the ENAR 2026 Spring Meeting in Indianapolis.
