Paid research study on vitamin C and gut health

Researchers in Ohio State's human nutrition program are looking for adults with BMI between 30 to 45 to take part in a clinical research study on gut health.


 

Vitamin C may improve gut barrier function and inflammation. Your participation helps researchers better understand these connections and could support future nutrition recommendations. To do so, this study will ask participants to avoid certain fruits and vegetables that are high in vitamin C to observe the effect of supplementation.

You can join us if you:

  • Are an adult between the ages of 18 and 50
  • Have a BMI range of 30 - 45
  • Are generally healthy, a non-smoker

Participants will will receive up to $100 compensation for completion of the study.
