PhD students recognized at Joint Biostatistics Symposium

Two PhD students from the College of Public Health received awards in a student poster competition at the 2026 Joint Biostatistics Symposium in April.
The event brought together Ohio State faculty, students and staff from CPH’s Division of Biostatistics, the College of Arts and Sciences Department of Statistics and the College of Medicine’s Department of Biomedical Informatics, alongside participants from the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Case Western Reserve University.
The student poster competition awardees:
- First prize: Arkajyoti Bhattacharjee, Department of Statistics
- Second prize: Andrew Gothard, CPH
- Third prize: Yiqian Zhang, CPH
