Epidemiology research seminar series
These talks are designed primarily for graduate students as an accessible primer on the research process.
About
Please join the Division of Epidemiology for their research seminar series, taking place on the first Wednesday of every month. Two faculty members will each give a 10–15 minute presentation, followed by Q&A and informal mingling. These talks are designed especially for graduate students as an accessible primer on the research process.
Faculty will share:
- How they came up with the idea or motivation for their project (or a specific paper)
- The steps they took to move the research forward
- Challenges they encountered along the way
- The datasets and analytic methods they used
- Key findings and results
Our goal is to make epidemiology research feel approachable while creating space for discussion and connection between students, faculty and staff.
