About

The Psychedelic Emergency, Acute, and Continuing Care Education (P.E.A.C.E.) program, is an educational initiative of the Center for Psychedelic Drug Research and Education (CPDRE) at the Ohio State University funded by a grant from the State of Ohio’s Department of Behavioral Health (DBH). The PEACE program is designed to train Ohio’s healthcare workforce to effectively respond to individuals who have used or are using psychedelic substances and to support professionals in emergency departments, crisis intervention, and behavioral health fields. Participants will gain essential knowledge and skills to manage acute situations, facilitate quality care, and offer appropriate referrals - all while prioritizing person-centered, trauma-informed approaches.

The P.E.A.C.E. Behavioral Health Seminar—designed for licensed behavioral health professionals—will be held at the Fawcett Center and is free to attend. Interested participants are encouraged to register and share the information within their networks.
