Mentoring Better: How to Build a Lab While Incorporating Positive Mentorship
This program for graduate students and postdocs will introduce you to tools and techniques now so that you can start right when the time comes to build your lab, incorporating positive mentorship.
About
A successful research enterprise requires more than technical talent. A lab culture grounded in mentoring fosters skill development, retention, and the formation of strong, productive teams.
A panel of early-career and experienced research faculty will have a discussion, along with Q&A, about starting your lab and integrating mentoring into that process to create a positive lab culture. The program will feature small breakouts for more intimate conversations.
