The Ohio State University will host representatives from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine (NASEM) for a networking event focused on advancing support for caregivers in STEMM. In partnership with the College of Medicine’s Physician Scientist Education and Training program and the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI), the event will feature Dr. Ginny Bumgardner MD, PhD, presenting outcomes from the Funds to Retain Clinical Scientists (FRCS) initiative and best practices to reduce attrition among physician-scientists and other faculty and staff in the STEMM community facing caregiving challenges.
