Battle Against Hunger
During November, Battle Against Hunger aims to bring awareness to issues surrounding food insecurity through a food drive, service and educational sessions.
The Battle Against Hunger is a month-long program coordinated by service-based cohort, Pay It Forward. You can get involved by donating to the month-long food drive or attending one of the educational sessions listed below. Food drive donation drop-box sites and registration details can be found using the link above.
- Friday, Nov. 14, 5-6 p.m., virtual: Join Pay it Forward student cohort members to learn more about food insecurity and resources in Columbus.
 - Thursday, Nov. 20, 5:30-6:30 p.m., Round Meeting Room (Ohio Union): In this session, Dr. Brian Roe will talk about food waste in the United States and the potential connections between food waste and food security.
 - Monday, Nov. 24, 5:30-6:30 p.m., Maudine Cow Room (Ohio Union): Join Pay It Forward for an educational session, led by Madi Barnes, Program Coordinator of the Monda Student Resource Center, to discuss the prevalence of food insecurity on campus.
