Call for nominations: APHA and college student awards
It is time to recognize the incredible talent and dedication within our community! We are calling on all faculty and staff to help us celebrate excellence by nominating deserving colleagues and students for the following prestigious honors.
APHA awards (national recognition)
The American Public Health Association (APHA) is now accepting nominations for its annual awards. These are high-level honors typically reserved for those with significant contributions to the field.
The deadline for these awards is generally April 20. Please verify individual dates on the APHA Awards page.
College of Public Health student awards
The College of Public Health is launching three new student awards this year:
- Doctoral Student Research Award, for excellence in original research. Open to graduating students only.
- Dean's Award for Public Health Impact, for exemplary scholastic achievement, community service, leadership and commitment to individuals and communities. Open to graduating students only.
- Graduate Teaching Award, for teaching excellence. Open to all GTAs.
The deadline for all three awards is April 3.
