Changes to internship/capstone course beginning summer 2026
PUBHLTH 3191 no longer a capstone course; PUBHLTH 4191 is new capstone internship course
If you plan to complete an internship for your capstone, you will now enroll in PUBHLTH 4191 - Capstone Internship in Public Health (previously 3191).
A new opportunity will be available for those interested in completing an extra internship for elective credits in future terms. This option will align with the previous internship course, PUBHLTH 3191 - Undergraduate Internship in Public Health (non-capstone).
Please note: PUBHLTH 3191 is no longer a capstone course and will not fulfill the capstone requirement. It should only be used by students who have open elective space and want to earn credit for an additional internship experience. To enroll in PUBHLTH 3191 for an elective internship experience, please fill out the preapproval form.
